The German carmaker still knows how to steal the spotlight: with two surprise limited-edition releases. Say hello to the retro-inspired Porsche 911 Spirit 70, and the heritage-honed Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years

There’s no such thing as too many Porsche 911s—especially not when Porsche Singapore decides to drop two of them in one fell swoop. The brand’s latest reveal event doubled as both a nostalgic nod and a forward-thinking flex, showcasing two limited-edition units, both very different but equally electrifying: the Southeast Asian debut of the 911 Spirit 70, and the highly-limited 911 Turbo 50 Years, a surprise appearance that stole the show with its one-of-one exclusivity.

Disco-era dreams meet hybrid innovation

First revealed at Auto Shanghai 2025 show, the Porsche 911 Spirit 70 channels the vibrant energy of the 1970s and early 1980s into one unmistakably Porsche package. The car is based on the all-new 911 Carrera GTS T-Hybrid Cabriolet, a lightweight performance hybrid featuring a 3.6-litre flat-six engine paired with an electric turbo and motor. With a total system output of 541hp and 610Nm, it sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just three seconds, tipping the scales only 50kg heavier than the outgoing petrol-only GTS.

Design-wise, it’s a time capsule done right. Finished in a striking Olive Neo green with Bronzite accents and Sport Classic wheels, the Spirit 70 is truly a mood. Graphics across the bonnet and side body echo safety stripes from the ’70s racing era, while customisable “lollipop” number decals add a personal touch. Step inside and you’re greeted by a glorious revival of the Pasha interior fabric in black and Olive Neo, reinterpreted for modern comfort and wrapped around everything from the glovebox lining to the seat backs.

It’s not all nostalgia either. The Spirit 70 is also a launchpad for the new T-Hybrid drivetrain; this marks Porsche’s first road-going hybrid 911 and laying the groundwork for what’s to come. Only 1,500 units will be available worldwide, and just a handful is allocated to Singapore. Local buyers can expect pricing from S$1,095,188 before COE. Interested? Interact with a snazzy Apple Vision Pro configurator available at Porsche Studio Singapore to help visualise your disco-era dream build.

One unit for one lucky owner

As if that weren’t enough, Porsche also pulled the covers off the 911 Turbo 50 Years: a singular unit reserved for the Singapore market. Built to celebrate five decades of the iconic 911 Turbo, this special edition is based on the current-gen Turbo S and limited to just 1,974 units globally.

It comes finished in Aventurine Green Metallic and wears the Heritage Design Package, which includes tartan-patterned inlays, gold badging, and the historic Porsche crest from 1964. A turbocharger icon projection lights up the pavement when the door opens—a cheeky touch that harks back to the Type 930 Turbo’s audacious legacy. Under the hood, its 3.7-litre flat-six delivers 650 PS, good for a 0–100 km/h time of 2.7 seconds.

For collectors with an eye for rare badges and power, the one and only unit available in Singapore, along with bragging rights, can be yours at S$1,377,058 (excluding COE). Interested parties can enquire for a private viewing at Porsche Studio Singapore.

When it comes to iconic sports cars, Porsche knows that more is definitely more.
