The Code 11.59 Audemars Piguet Starwheel celebrates Singapore’s heritage while supporting the National Museum of Singapore’s renovation
For SG60, the Code 11.59 Audemars Piguet Starwheel commemorates the nation’s legacy through a fundraising partnership with the National Museum of Singapore.
The Code 11.59 Audemars Piguet Starwheel reinterprets the centuries-old wandering hours complication with a modern aesthetic. Housed in an 18-carat white gold and black ceramic case, it features a striking red lacquer dial—a tribute to Singapore’s national colour.

A highlight of this watch is the wandering hours mechanism, which displays time via three rotating discs moving along a 120-degree minute scale. The current hour is indicated by the disc pointing to the minutes—a unique way to tell time. These discs are driven by a central rotor that completes one revolution every three hours through star-shaped wheels, hence the name “Starwheel.”

The timepiece is powered by the in-house self-winding Calibre 4310, boasting 32 jewels, a 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) frequency, and a 70-hour power reserve. The intricate movement is visible through the sapphire caseback, featuring a 22-carat pink gold oscillating rotor, uniquely cut out with a special 60th anniversary motif.
It also features a slim profile at 10.7mm thickness and offers 30 metres of water resistance. The strap is black rubber-coated with an 18-carat white gold pin buckle. An optional denim-effect strap with red stitching is also available.
Proceeds from the sale of this timepiece will support the National Museum of Singapore’s efforts to renovate the museum, ensuring it can continue its mission to inspire through stories of Singapore and the world.
