The arrival of Audi’s latest electric SUV, the Q6 e-tron rear wheel drive, marks a significant step forward in the brand’s electrification journey—one that combines luxury, range, and innovation on a bold new platform

A new contender has arrived. We’re talking about Singapore’s electric vehicle scene, of course. And this is one that doesn’t merely join the conversation, but seeks to redefine it. This is the Audi Q6 e-tron rear wheel drive, which has officially made its local debut following the earlier launch of its quattro sibling at the Singapore Motor Show 2025 earlier this year. With both variants now on display at the Audi House of Progress, the Q6 e-tron signals a confident evolution in Audi’s electric ambitions.

Built on the marque’s all-new Premium Platform Electric (PPE)—the first of its kind for Audi—the Q6 e-tron embodies a future-forward approach to sustainable mobility, marrying everyday usability with design and digital sophistication.

The numbers impress: a dual-motor powertrain producing up to 285kW, a range of up to 543 km for the quattro, and 464 km for the rear-wheel drive. We know what the next question might be, and here’s the answer: charging performance is equally compelling. Thanks to improved system optimisation, a quick 10-minute charge can add up to 255 km of range. Fast charging from 10 to 80 per cent takes just over 20 minutes, making electric ownership not just viable, but seamless.

For managing director Martin Bayer, the launch of the Q6 e-tron marks a key milestone in Audi Singapore’s vision. “Being the first model built on the Premium Platform Electric, the Q6 e-tron represents a new generation of electric mobility at Audi,” says Bayer. “And we’re excited to offer more options to meet the evolving demands of our market.”

To celebrate its arrival, the Audi House of Progress will host a weekend of family-friendly experiences this weekend, from 10 to 12 May. Expect activities like golf coaching by Lip Golf and creative activities for children. It’s a reflection of the car’s broad appeal: athletic yet approachable, digital yet deeply human.
