A. Lange & Söhne, Bvlgari, Chopard, and Franck Muller make our list of favourite watches for July
Our roundup of the best luxury horological creations for July span the wildly whimsical to the deeply evocative.

A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk Date
Looking like it belongs on a steampunk spaceship, but in reality inspired by a 19th century clock inside the Dresden Semper Opera House, there’s really no watch quite like the A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk. This month, the tantalisingly iconoclastic timepiece distinguished by its “digital” time display returns with a refreshed take on the Zeitwerk Date. Housed in a 44.2mm pink gold case with silver and grey dial—the first such combination for the collection—the watch flaunts the familiar digital-style time display, framed by an innovative date ring constructed of printed glass that indicates the current date in red, and makes one full revolution around the dial in a month. Bvlgari SG60 World Timer
Dropped just in time to commemorate Singapore’s 60th year of independence, the Bvlgari SG60 World Timer is a great travel companion to pair with the world’s most valuable passport. Housed in a 41mm matte black DLC-coated case, the world-time watch lets you ascertain the time across 24 world cities at a single glance. Here, Singapore enjoys pride of place, highlighted in red on the city ring display. The fiery hue—Singapore’s national colour—is replicated on the day-night indicator, as well as on one of the two rubber straps that come with the watch.

Chopard Imperiale Four Seasons
Chopard captures the passing of the seasons in the exquisite Imperiale Four Seasons. Limited to 25 pieces, this lyrical creation features a rotating mother-of-pearl disc that completes a full cycle every 365 days, subtly marking the passage of the seasons. Framed by lace-like white gold and diamonds, the dial blends technical finesse with decorative artistry. The L.U.C 96.31-L calibre, with its 65-hour reserve, powers the display with refined precision. Four alligator leather straps, each mirroring a season’s palette, complete the look with elegance and versatility.

Franck Muller #FR2NCK MULLER Vanguard Beach Limited Edition
Franck Muller and Tokyo streetwear label, #FR2, first collaborated in 2023 and, this year, these kindred spirits in irreverence up the ante with the #FR2NCK MULLER Vanguard Beach Limited Edition—comprising three provocative watches with FR2’s mischievous (and self-explanatory) Fxxking Rabbits motif. Available in striking hues—Heatwave Red, Surf Blue, and Tropical Green—the watches depict the rabbits getting up to you-know-what while under a beach umbrella, on a surfboard, and nestled among lush greenery. While aesthetically playful, the watches are serious horological offerings. The 41mm Vanguard case is constructed from lightweight yet durable glass fibre composite, while the exceptionally finished in-house automatic movement is a workhorse with 42-hour power reserve.
