Braci launches a one-night-only Truffle Madness menu in Singapore

Barci truffle dinner

Tucked away on the top two floors of a heritage shophouse on Boat Quay, the food is the true star of the show at Braci

Considering that its name means “embers” in Italian, it should come as no surprise then that Braci – acclaimed restaurateur Beppe De Vito’s brainchild on Boat Quay – turns to wood fire and a Josper oven to redefine a classic Italian menu.

Come 13 November, Braci will launch its one-night-only White Truffle Dinner ($888 per person), featuring the familiar wood-smoked scent the restaurant is synonymous with, and of course, a truffle overload.

Dishes in the five-course menu include Blue Lobster with Autumn Vegetables, Foie Gras with Marsala and Black Cabbage and Smoked Egg Yolk with Fennel, Artichokes and 100-year-old Balsamic.

Each course will be served with the decadent Alba White Truffle of Piedmont and paired with fine wines such as Dom Perignon ’09, Sassicaia ’11 San Guido and Batar ’13 Querciabella.

But nevermind if you can’t make it on the 13th. There’s always plenty to love at this one-Michelin star hideaway, from its plethora of appetisers and pastas to delicious must-haves like the Pork Cheek ($78) and three omakase degustation menus – Surprise ($100), Epicurean ($150) and Menu ($200). Plus, there’s no forgetting its selection of organic and biodynamic wines, double-shot strong cocktails, Japanese whiskies and scotch for a nightcap.
