A newly converted historic building, Twenty Grosvenor Square, is due to open as a residential development in the middle of next year – and it’s already setting the benchmark for luxurious living in London.

International design and development firm Finchatton has partnered with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts to offer the first standalone Four Seasons Private Residences: 37 residences that come with all the trappings of first-class hotel services.

Finchatton co-founder Andrew Dunn says, “Buyers expect world-class amenities, concierge and service when purchasing a Finchatton property. Partnering with Four Seasons to deliver this, and more, at Twenty Grosvenor Square will bring the very best to one of London’s most distinguished locations.” This translates into taking care of the smallest details and buyers can expect a bespoke residence with customised furniture and decor plus tailored apartment fittings that even take into account whether you’re left- or right-handed.

The historic building, where General Dwight Eisenhower spent time during the Second World War, has been elegantly renovated by Finchatton into three-, four- and five-bedroom apartments with classical drawing rooms, lofty ceilings, media rooms, family and catering kitchens and separate staff access.

The 23,000sqm development will also include a private wine cellar, spa with 25m swimming pool, treatment suite with steam room and sauna, state-of-the-art fitness centre, games room, cinema, garden room and private landscaped gardens. The finishing touches are the services provided by Four Seasons, which will be tailored to each resident’s lifestyle – from in-residence dining and catering to concierge services, housekeeping, salon and spa services, grocery stocking, event planning, transportation and business services – and even childcare and pet care.

J Allen Smith, president and CEO, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts says, “Twenty Grosvenor Square is a significant development for Four Seasons as it marks our much-anticipated entry into standalone residential. Partnering with Finchatton is an incredible opportunity for us to bring our vision for free-standing residential to life.”
