Dubbed Reach for the Stars, the 109-piece haute joaillerie collection reinterprets the Chanel glamour
There is a moment—brief and breathtaking—when the sun dips below the horizon and the sky is set ablaze with pink, mauve, and gold. This is the golden hour: fleeting, cinematic, and impossibly beautiful. The latest Chanel high jewellery collection, Reach for the Stars, captures this magical transition and transforms it into something eternal.
Here, creative director Patrice Leguéreau and the Chanel Jewelry Creation Studio further elevate the vision with Gabrielle Chanel’s legacy and the modern woman’s defiant elegance.
Drawing on the house’s iconic symbols—the comet, the wing, and the lion—Reach for the Stars is a tribute as much as it is a reinvention. It redefines glamour not as ornamentation, but as empowerment.
“We wanted to create pieces of jewellery that are illuminated by the rays of the sunset and beyond, with those colours blazing across the horizon,” notes Leguéreau. “Capturing that magical moment between day and night when High Jewelry sparkles on the skin”.

The comet, a motif Gabrielle introduced in 1932, symbolises freedom and destiny. In this collection, it blazes anew: in the Blazing Star set, gold and onyx lines stretch across the skin like constellations; in the Twin Stars necklace, diamonds and tanzanite shimmer with celestial precision.

For the first time, Chanel brings wings to life in high jewellery. Inspired by Gabrielle’s famous mantra—“If you were born without wings, do nothing to prevent them from growing”—these pieces float and flex with sculptural grace. The Wings of Chanel necklace, crowned by a rare 19.55-carat Padparadscha sapphire, drapes like lace spun from stars. The Free Move necklace flows along the back or neckline, breathing with the body. Every element is designed to feel like part of you.

Then comes the lion, Gabrielle’s astrological sign and a long-standing symbol of strength. Here, it appears both bold and stylised—framed in diamonds, captured in profile, always regal.

Topping off Reach for the Stars, The Silhouette Clock features Gabrielle herself, gazing skyward—hands in pockets, eyes on the stars. It’s a portrait of timeless ambition.
Beyond these symbols lies Chanel’s greatest innovation: movement. Pieces transform—necklaces become bracelets, earrings take on new dimensions—adapting to mood, moment, and silhouette. It’s couture thinking in gemstone form.
