Hugo Boss launches capsule collection with Olympic gold medallist Joseph Schooling

Joseph Schooling

The swim champ adds ‘fashion designer’ to his star-studded resume

Joseph Schooling is making Singapore very, very proud. Besides cinching a gold medal at the 2016 Olympics and being the first Singaporean ambassador of Hugo Boss, Schooling has also created a limited edition capsule collection in collaboration with the German fashion house, which will be available from 25 May.

Unsurprisingly, the collection is decidedly nautical: the polo shirts, t-shirts, shorts, bag and towel feature navy blue and yellow stripes — a reflection of Schooling’s swimming achievements and his alma mater — and will be right at home in your yacht or beachfront villa. Also, 15 per cent of the proceeds from the collection will go to the Schooling Sports Academy, which supports and develops local aspiring athletes.

The launch of Schooling and Boss capsule collection will coincide with the grand re-opening of the Boss store in Marina Bay Sands. There will also be 100 exclusive sets on sale during launch day, with each set consisting of all five collection items, accompanied by a set of limited edition postcards signed by the swim star.
