Moncler has long mastered the art of translating its alpine heritage into urban sophistication, and its latest footwear releases—Trailgrip Apex2 GTX and Altive Mid—prove once again that performance and polish can coexist seamlessly

For decades, Moncler has been synonymous with mountain mastery—outerwear built for the slopes but worn everywhere else. Today, the house continues to extend that alpine heritage into footwear, unveiling two new designs that feel just as at home in a city café as they do against a backdrop of snow-capped peaks.

The Trailgrip returns this season with a sleeker, more refined silhouette. Where the original Trailgrip leaned into utility, the Trailgrip Apex2 GTX takes a more architectural approach, finished in tonal shades that feel deliberately understated yet quietly commanding. Rich nubuck, subtle metallic accents, and a distinctive textured leather elevate the sneaker into rarified territory. It’s the sort of shoe you’ll spot on a design-forward creative in Paris or a collector pacing through Ginza.

Of course, this is Moncler, so the technical core remains uncompromised: GORE-TEX membrane, Ortholite insole, EVA midsole, carbon fiber footplate, and Vibram Megagrip tread.

If the Trailgrip Apex2 is the minimalist’s flex, the new Moncler Altive Mid is its bolder counterpart. Inspired by archival Moncler snowboots, the Altive Mid has a sculptural quality thanks to its chunky Vibram Megagrip sole and padded nylon upper. Offered in a restrained palette—black, khaki, pale rose, and beige—it’s the kind of boot that turns winter dressing into an editorial moment.

The Trailgrip Apex2 GTX is available now at Moncler Marina Bay Sands and on moncler.com, while the Altive Mid lands later this month.
