Soul Soothing

The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore has recently unveiled an all-new Ritz-Carlton Spa. Tucked away on the first level, you’ll find yourself surrounded by bath and locker rooms, the gym, an outdoor swimming pool, sauna, and 10 spa treatment rooms including two couple suites.

The spa has also recently partnered La Mer to deliver top-of-the-line skincare and facial treatments. Of course, the highlight remains La Mer’s Miracle Broth which uses extracts from lime and algae, as well as sesame seed and eucalyptus oil.

While time is a luxury, The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore brands its spa as A Timeless Journey, encouraging guests to use the other facilities before and after spa treatments. Apart from being able to spend an entire day at the spa, here are five reasons we’d make repeated visits.

It’s the first luxury hotel in Asia Pacific to partner La Mer
What’s better than pampering yourself with off-the-counter La Mer products? Having skilled therapists to do it with TLC, while you lie back and enjoy the process. Each therapist undergoes at least two weeks of training by a La Mer representative, ensuring that the right techniques and pressure are used throughout.

The spa features an exclusive La Mer Miracle Broth facial
Each La Mer treatment uses the Miracle Broth to a varying dosage, but go all out and indulge in the La Mer Miracle Broth facial. During the 90-minute session ($480), a therapist gently cleanses and massages the face, using a bespoke mix of massage techniques to prep the skin, before patting on an entire vial of Miracle Broth. An ice technique is also used to promote maximum absorption.

It offers some of the most soothing signature treatments
Timeless Indulgence
($680 for 90 minutes) that combines the best of face and foot care and is performed by two therapists. Cello Concerto ($480 for 60 minutes), performed in The Ritz-Carlton Spa suite consists of a body massage that is harmoniously synchronised with melodies of a cello concerto. You may take your other half along (S$880 for two), and following the treatment, you’ll get to enjoy a couple’s bath.

The men do get it
Men have a separate list of treatments to choose from. The list consists of six treatments, including a Muscle Recovery massage (from S$200) and a custom facial (from S$280).

30 minutes is all you need to relax
If you can’t tear yourself away for an hour or so, the spa offers express treatments (30 minutes each), carried out in its Timeless Capsule. Services include a Zero Gravity Chair experience (S$95), a Fusion treatment (S$95) consisting of a dry head, back and shoulder massage, and an eye treatment using La Mer products (S$170).
