The new YTL Hotels booking portal offers Singaporeans a quick escape to paradise

Escapism at its Best

YTL Hotels’ new portal may not be of the magical, instant-teleportation variety (yet), but it is probably as close to one as technology currently allows. Launched last month, the new online portal created exclusively for the Singapore market features deals and packages at YTL Hotels’ properties available only for travellers from our sunny island.

But why the special treatment? “It’s a well-known fact that Singaporeans are amongst some of the most frequent travellers in the world, with discerning tastes and an eye for getting the best deals,” explains Geraldine Dreiser, vice president of marketing and communications at YTL Hotels. In other words, Singaporeans are a picky lot; we like our creature comforts, and we like them at a good price.

Some attractive deals available only to Singaporeans who book through the portal include free nights, full board, complimentary spa sessions and tours. The packages may differ from property to property, but all share a similarity – YTL Hotels promises that the deals found on the portal are of the best value. Beyond just providing accommodation packages, the site aims to be a one-stop platform that also covers experiences and even flights via a link to flight aggregator Skyscanner. To find their ideal holiday, visitors simply filter their search by the type of property, region, or desired experience. Whether it is an escape to a spa resort, a cultural trip to ancient ruins, or a ski trip chasing powder at Niseko, YTL Hotels has the, well, hotels to cover them all. In addition, the site is also mobile-optimised so travellers can conveniently make bookings on the go.

The portal launched with 10 short getaways mostly to resorts in Malaysia and Thailand, but will expand to encompass more YTL Hotels properties within this year.
