Inside the new immersive kitchen showroom at bulthaup

By Audrey Simon 22 May, 2025

Kitchens are inspired spaces where people relax, create, and genuinely feel at home. At bulthaup, each kitchen is thoughtfully designed to reflect the unique needs, customs, and personality of its owner

American chef, author, and television personality Julia Child once said, “The kitchen is the soul of the home. It’s where memories are made, conversations flow, and family bonds grow stronger.”

Stepping into the new bulthaup immersive kitchen showroom feels like embracing Child’s words. Guests are welcomed warmly—just as if visiting a friend’s home—where the kitchen is filled with all the comforts needed for entertaining and connecting with loved ones.

At bulthaup, kitchens and living spaces are more than just functional; they are gathering places where people relax, create, and truly feel at home. This environment inspires creativity, empowering individuals to craft with their own hands. To design such meaningful spaces, the needs, customs, and personalities of the users are carefully considered before development begins.

Located in a restored shop house, the showroom displays bulthaup’s premium kitchen systems within a thoughtfully curated layout. The experience showcases what every homeowner desires: interactive displays and realistic kitchen designs that demonstrate bulthaup’s systems in everyday life. Using natural woods, minimalist metal accents, and integrated technology, the space offers a glimpse into a typical day of a homeowner who loves to entertain.

As visitors explore the showroom, the bulthaup café—developed in collaboration with Santino Coffee—invites them to enjoy a truly excellent cup of coffee, a must-try for all connoisseurs. As Asia’s first bulthaup café, it features high-performance surfaces from Viabizzuno and WMF, along with iconic pieces like the bulthaup B3 Monoblock—designed to fuse function, aesthetics, and innovation.

Throughout, the showroom encourages dialogue, community, and creativity—transforming everyday design into a meaningful lifestyle experience.

Designed in collaboration with TERRE Studio, the space redefines the showroom experience by blending precision, heritage, and contemporary aesthetics. It invites architects, designers, and enthusiasts to see kitchens as environments crafted with intention, beauty, and culture.
