Byredo writes a new chapter in the Blanche lore with Blanche Absolu, an intensified and personal iteration of the iconic scent

Byredo’s Blanche Absolu de Parfum captures this fleeting intimacy, distilling it into a fragrance of contrasts: the crispness of morning, the heat of touch, the quiet strength of presence. “It’s about translating a level of intimacy that is very human,” reflects founder and creative director Ben Gorham.
A reimagining of the beloved Blanche Eau de Parfum, this new interpretation heightens each note, creating an experience that is bolder and more profound. A striking interplay of purity and strength runs through its composition, mirroring the essence of human connection—delicate yet unyielding.
The fragrance opens with intensified aldehydes, sharpened by the crisp bite of black pepper and the luminous sweetness of neroli, demanding attention from the first spritz. As it unfolds, a floral heart of rose absolute, violet, and watery jasmine blooms, evoking depth and complexity. Finally, it settles into an intoxicating base that is musky and warm, enriched with amber wood, cashmere wood, and dry cashmeran. The result is a scent that lingers, leaving a trail of quiet sensuality and lasting presence, much like the embrace of a loved one.
Beyond the scent, Blanche Absolu is an ode to craftsmanship and design. Byredo has reimagined the bottle as a tactile expression of its artistic philosophy.
