Cupra Singapore is adding a new dimension of performance and personality to local roads with the launch of the all-new Leon, Formentor, and Terramar
It was mere months ago when Cupra made its bold debut on our shores, with the fully-electric Born and Tavascan–and they’re keeping the momentum strong. Today, the Barcelona-born performance brand has officially rolled out not one, but three new internal combustion engine (ICE) models: the Cupra Leon hot-hatch, Formentor crossover, and the all-new Terramar SUV. And of course, each of these new models is built around Cupra’s core values: emotion, design, and performance, with the unmistakeable distinctive personalities to match.
Previously known as the Seat Leon Cupra, the new and facelifted Cupra Leon bids adieu to the 2.0-litre and returns this time with a 1.5-litre eTSI engine, while still every bit a hot-hatch with racing heritage in its veins. Compact, clever, and agile, it features a mild hybrid powertrain that marries efficiency with everyday driveability. Inside, a new design language emphasises driver focus and digital connectivity, making this a refined yet feisty choice for urban thrill-seekers.
For the brand’s bestselling model (and the first model to be designed entirely in-house), the Cupra Formentor makes an especially dramatic entrance with its high-performance VZ variant. Powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine delivering 329 bhp and 420 Nm of torque, this crossover scorches from standstill to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds. Adaptive chassis control, all-wheel drive, and a copper-accented digital cockpit that ensures it feels as sharp as it looks–what more could we ask for?

The Cupra Terramar, on the other hand, rounds off the trio release with a more grounded, everyday versatility. A nod to the historic Terramar race circuit, this mild hybrid SUV blends bold exterior styling with a 1.5-litre eTSI engine and 7-speed DSG transmission for a smooth, responsive everyday drive. LED signatures, plush seats, and seamless infotainment complete the package, redefining what SUVs can be.
