The Singapore Grand Prix weekend is always a time for high-octane thrills at the Marina Bay Circuit. The only thing that could make it even more special is if you were one of Robb Report Singapore’s invited VIP guests at Aston Martin’s Leng Kee Road showroom.

Two red-hot models – namely, the Rapide S and DB11 – sported a custom vinyl wrap in the livery of the Red Bull Racing Formula One team’s race cars.

After the guests put the Rapide S and DB11 through their paces, it was time for lunch and to listen to Aston Martin’s CEO, Dr Andy Palmer reaffirm his commitment to the marque’s Second Century Plan, which among other things, promises a new Aston Martin every year.

The first fruit of his leadership can be seen in the DB11, which was crowned Robb Report Singapore’s Car of the Year 2017. No big surprise, then, that it also found favour among the guests that afternoon. “Driving an Aston Martin made me feel like James Bond,” enthused Eric Neo.

Going by the way both cars were received by the VIP guests, it seems like Dr Palmer’s, and indeed, Aston Martin’s, future is looking bright.
