The  Small Luxury Cookbook carries precious recipes that have been  passed down through many generations

The generous, amiable folks from Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) have come up with a way to welcome you to their suite of 520 hotels across the globe — one that doesn’t require you to hop on board any flight (we hear a collective sigh of relief from those of you who could use a break from traveling).

Instead, the brand’s giving you a taste of its properties through the third edition of The Small Luxury Cookbook. The culinary bible has assembled over 130 signature recipes perfected by chefs from its member hotels.

These recipes reflect some of SLH hotels’ biggest culinary trends such as iconic Asian fare which features the Naman Special Hotpot, a specialty from Naman Retreat in central Vietnam; tea appreciation which has seen high demand at eco-luxury beach resort The Racha in Phuket; wellness-led culinary options such as liquid lunch menus made entirely from freshly blended juices at HGU New York and uncommon food pairings (think green tea paired with French cuisine, courtesy of ABBA Resorts Izu in).

Apart from step-by-step instructions, recipes also come with alternative suggestions for ingredients that are hard to source, so you don’t have to sweat the small stuff. The  Small  Luxury  Cookbook  is  available  for purchase online and at participating  SLH  hotels at a price of  £40 (S$70).
