For the first time in history, Singapore welcomes an American icon—the Corvette Stingray. Long celebrated as the pinnacle of American muscle and motorsport heritage, the arrival of the Corvette marks a defining moment for the city’s high-performance car scene.
With over 70 years of racing pedigree, including victories at Le Mans, Daytona, and Sebring, the Stingray is no stranger to the spotlight. Now, it’s ready to command attention on local roads with its unmistakable growl and unmistakable silhouette.
At its heart beats a 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine, unleashing 495 hp and 637 Nm of torque. It takes just 2.9 seconds to sprint from zero to 100 km/h, thanks in part to its track-focused Z51 Performance Package, mid-engine layout, and razor-sharp suspension tuning. This is a supercar built for thrills—yet surprisingly refined in everyday life.
The Stingray’s striking design is inspired by fighter jets and Formula One racers, featuring a canopy-forward stance, deep aerodynamic sculpting, and a dramatic rear window that reveals its powerplant beneath a lightweight 3.2mm glass panel. Inside, drivers are cocooned in a jet-inspired cockpit, complete with hand-stitched leather, stainless steel speaker grilles for the Bose Performance audio system, and enough cargo space for two sets of golf clubs—because why not?
Practical touches, including a front suspension lift and integrated front-facing cameras, make it equally adept at city cruising as it is at carving corners.
Limited units of the Corvette Stingray will be available through the brand’s new flagship showroom at 1 Commonwealth Lane from 28 July.
