Vacheron Constantin pays tribute to the 1940s in the most timeless way possible

Vacheron Constantin Triple Calendrier 1942 and Triple Calendrier 1948

Down Memory Lane

The 1940s had been especially memorable for Vacheron Constantin as the golden age of calendar complications. Numerous perpetual and complete calendar watches were made, which propelled the manufacturer to worldwide fame and success.

Today, it pays tribute to this era with two special-edition models enriching the Historiques collection: Triple Calendrier 1942 and Triple Calendrier 1948.

These timepieces faithfully replicate the vintage style of references 4240 and 4240L. Both watches proffer the complete calendar displaying day, date and month, but key differences include case material – stainless steel or pink gold – and slight movement updates.

Powered by manual-winding calibres 4400 QC and 4400 QCL, these water-resistant watches are also more robust than their historical counterparts.
