Luxury yacht charters: Papa Yacht by Amels, a 50m beauty that cruises around Southeast Asia

Amels Papa yacht charter

Designed by naval architect Tim Heywood Design, Amels’ Papa Yacht is tastefully furnished in an elegant white, cream and grey palette

Delivered last year, Amels’ new 55m Papa Yacht was cruising the Mediterranean on back-to-back charters before the virus outbreak. Designed by naval architect Tim Heywood Design, the yacht is tastefully furnished in an elegant white, cream and grey palette.

Papa sleeps up to 10 guests in five luxurious cabins. The owner’s cabin is one to behold; there’s a separate lounge and office, along with a fold-out balcony for additional space while at anchor. The marble en suite features a gorgeous tub, twin sinks and an oversized shower.

While most yachts cruise around the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, Papa yacht is stationed in Southeast Asia. It’s equipped to sail to remote locations such as Raja Ampat, and can do so at a maximum speed of 14 knots.

You’ll be in the capable hands of captain Paul Bessant and his crew of 12. Bessant has sailed to some of the most remote parts of the world and looked after a fleet of yachts for a royal family.
