Best afternoon teas in Singapore: SKAI, The Landing Point, Brasserie Les Saveurs and more

antidote Season of Impressionists Afternoon Tea

From The Ritz-Carlton to SKAI at Swissôtel The Stamford, here are some of the best afternoon teas in Singapore

What’s not to love about afternoon tea? If it were up to us, we’d quite rather be gorging on scones, savouries and pastries every day of the week. There’s nothing quite like whiling the afternoon away, peacefully sipping on a hot cup of tea whilst heartily indulging the palate—and these are the most decadent and sumptuous afternoon teas the city has to offer. Our eyes are fixed on these menus.

Skai High Tea

In partnership with Artistory and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Skai introduces ‘Gathering of The Greats, A Wave from The East’; a bespoke high tea experience inspired by the renowned print series, Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji. Available until 1 July 2023, Skai underwent a captivating transformation including artistically adorning the Swissôtel The Stamford’s lobby and Skai’s iconic foyer staircase to resemble the famous Under the Wave off Kanagawa. As for treats, they come as a mix of savoury and sweet expertly designed with Houkai’s prints and created with a subtle Japanese influence. Highlights include the Eel with hummus and olive oil pearls, Chocolate Fuji with mango passionfruit coulis, and Sudachi Macaron infused with cream cheese and Japanese citrus. As for à la carte drinks, enjoy the special latte, Umi No Kisu with butterfly pea flowers and sakura, or Horizon Gate, a blue pea flower- and passionfruit- cocktail that’s available as a mocktail, too.

Reserve via Skai’s website and be eligible to participate in an exclusive lucky draw. You could win a two-night stay in Swissôtel Nankai Osaka’s Swiss Executive Room, inclusive of a buffet breakfast at Table36 and access to the Swiss Executive Lounge.
