Sincere Fine Watches becomes Kudoke’s exclusive retailer in Singapore and Malaysia

Sincere Fine Watches, Asia’s go-to for luxury timepieces, now exclusively retails Kudoke in Singapore and Malaysia. Founded in 2005 by German independent watchmaker Stefan Kudoke (pictured above)—an AHCI member who, at 22, was one of the youngest recognised Master Craftsmen in Glashütte—it is a brand most sought after for hand-finished watches that stay true to traditional German schools of haute horology. Kudoke spent years perfecting the art of handskeletonising before developing the Kaliber 1, an in-house movement inspired by historical English pocket watches. It is the heart of the Kudoke Handwerk series, which includes the Kudoke 1, a three-hand time-only watch; the Kudoke 2, which earned the 2019 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève award; and the Kudoke 3, which displays the hours using an unconventional three-tier hour scale. Get twisted in time with Louis XIII and crochet artist Kelly Limerick

Crochet and cognac? Guess they do go hand in hand, if you consider the significant of time, materials and traditional craftsmanship. In the latest showcase of art and spirit, Louis XIII collaborates with Kelly Lim, a Singaporean visual artist who specialises in crochet and knit work. Better known as Kelly Limerick, she was sent on a journey to the Louis XIII Domaine du Grollet Estate in Cognac, France, where she dug deep into the estate’s heritage, a piece of history that’s remained unchanged since 1874. She explored vineyards and toured the cellars, before spending the next four months crocheting a sculpture without joints or internal structures. This sculpture, called 100, is a vessel that cradles soil from Cognac, and in one way or another, embodies creativity, heritage and new beginnings. It was created in line with Louis XIII’s The Drop, a pocket-size fashion statement that’s best enjoyed on the go. More on that here.

Dior Spa travels to Dubai

There’s a new Dior Spa coming to Dubai this spring. On the 29th floor of The Lana, the latest addition to the Dorchester Collection portfolio, it is heaven on earth, with incredible views of the city’s Business Bay and Marasi Marina, and the best avant-garde treatments. The elegant space, designed by Gilles & Boissier, provides an impressive menu of facial treatments, tailor-made well-being escapes and treatments specially for men. Enjoy micro-abrasion, a painless exfoliation with anti-ageing properties; stone therapy, a massage that “harmonises energy flow” with semi-precious stones; and Escale, a Japanese-inspired ritual that relaxes the muscles as much as the mind.

APC launches its first self-care line

It’s 2024 and Paris-born fashion brand, APC, is finally into self-care. The brand, known for its timeless, elegant clothes, makes its grooming debut with six products—a cologne, shower gel, body lotion, hand cream, hand soap and lip balm—everything you will need for the every day. Each product comes perfumed with orange blossom (lovers of the No. 4 Candle would know), a signature APC scent treasured for stress-relieving properties, and formulated with mostly ingredients of natural origin.

“In fashion as in the cosmetics industry, the balance between too much and not enough is difficult to find. It’s a real job. These six products are the best possible. They are designed to make you feel good and comfortable and help you to have a good day” says Jean Touitou, APC’s founder and creative director.

Luca Delfino, Maserati’s new global chief commercial officer

Following the recent arrival of Giovanni Perosino as its new global chief marketing officer, Maserati now has a new global chief commercial officer. Luca Delfino knows the brand inside out, having risen several positions since joining the House of Trident in 2007 as an aftersales business manager for the Middle East, Africa and Europe. He will bring varied professional knowledge to the role, and will play a crucial part in contributing to Maserati’s success in the industry.

“Maserati is my family, and I am very pleased to have been appointed to such a role of responsibility and prestige for a manager. This new commitment means a new challenge for me, and I am grateful to the brand for once again putting its trust in me as we usher in a new era,” says Delfino.
