Resorts World Sentosa collaborates with one of Asia’s 50 Best Bars, Hope & Sesame, as well as Bar Sanyou, to create an eclectic and delicious series of cocktails featuring Bai Jiu for the first time

The Lunar New Year festivities are taking an unprecedented turn with the Bai Jiu Shakeup, an exclusive collaboration between Resorts World Sentosa, Hope & Sesame (one of the best bars in the world), and the innovative Bar Sanyou. This dynamic partnership marks the first fusion of China’s national spirit, Bai Jiu, with the culinary artistry of Michelin-starred table65, CHIFA!, and the spirited concoctions of Bar Sanyou.

At the heart of this gastronomic fiesta is the fiery and complex spirit that embodies Chinese culture—Bai Jiu. With its distinct taste and complex aroma, Bai Jiu is one of the most sought-after spirits in China, ranging from household varieties to premium distillations cherished by luxe alcohol aficionados. This Lunar New Year becomes the perfect canvas for table65 and CHIFA! to showcase this cultural treasure alongside their Chinese New Year-inspired food offerings.

Under the soft glow of lunar lanterns, Resorts World Sentosa welcomes guests to savour the rich stories behind six unique cocktails meticulously crafted by Bastien Ciocca, the co-founder of Hope & Sesame, and Heaven Zhang, the Head Mixologist at Bar Sanyou.

The star of the show is the RWSling, a bold reinterpretation of the iconic Singapore Sling. Crafted with Bai Jiu, tamarind vanilla Moutai, and a symphony of fruity flavours—banana, cherry, pomegranate, and pineapple—the RWSling embodies the essence of our culture, celebration and creativity in every sip.

These exclusive Bai Jiu cocktails are not merely a fleeting experience; they will be featured on the menus at table65 and CHIFA! until 31 March this year. For an immersive Lunar New Year celebration, guests could indulge in these bespoke concoctions as part of the festive menus from 13 to 19 February.
